Dr. P. S. Patel

Dr.Paresh S. Patel is working as a Professor since year 2021 and as an Associate Professor since year 2017 in the Department of Chemistry, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat. Prior to this, he was an Associate Professor at Narmada College of Science and Commerce, Zadeshwar, Bharuch. He has total 25 years teaching experience. He has successfully guided 10 students for Ph.D.and 01 student for M.Phil degree. He has published more than 55 research papers in national & international journals. He has presented more than 70 research papers in national and international conferences. He has published 06 books. He has completed major research project entitled “Studies on synthesis of some thieno[2,3-d]pyrimidine containing heterocyclic compounds and their antitubercular and antidiabetic activities” worth Rs.6,90,600 of UGC, New Delhi. He is nominated as a member of board of studies at Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat, member of board of studies at School of Science (Chemistry), P.P. Savani University, Dhamdod, Kosamba, Surat and member of board of studies at Vanita Vishram Women’s University, surat. He delivered lectures at the various P.G.centres affiliated to Veer Narmad South Gujarat University. His research field: synthetic organic chemistry (Dyes, Drugs and Polymers).
