Prof & Head (Dr.) Arti J. Rajyaguru

She has 31 years of teaching experience as a permanent faculty including UG and PG level. During these long journey of teaching of the Statistics, she has taught statistics to different students of B.Sc., B.Com, M.Sc., M. Com , M.A., M.B.A., C.A, ICWA, C.S. etc. To help students in shaping their bright career with statistics, she continuously encourages students for improving their knowledge of statistics. She is also the founder of the first "Career Guidance committee" at the college level in the south Gujarat region. Many students got its benefit. She has joined the Uni. Department on 2-11-2006, when very few students were there and no permanent faculty was there in the department. With the whole heated support of the university authorities, she succeeded to revive the department by restructuring the regular M.Sc. (Statistics) program according to the need of the society and starting a new PG program M.Sc. (Applied Statistics). She has been guiding Ph.D. students since 2000. Under her guidance 3 students have completed their Ph.D. and 3 students have completed M. Phil. She has rendered her services as a resource person at many national as well as state level seminar/conference/training programs.
