K. M. Munshi Chair
Shri Kanaiyalal Munshi Project Unit Chair – (Established in 1991):Established in the year 1991 with the grant received from the State Government, this chair undertakes various programmes during the year, which are as follows:
a) One National level seminar during the year
b) Elocution competition, once-act play and mono-acting competitions
c) Encouraging students to purchase literary works of Munshi, reference books as well as guiding them to undertake research in this area.
d) Several seminars on the literary works of Munshi are organized from time-to-time in collaboration with the colleges affiliated to the University.
e) Organizing memorial lectures on the birth and the death anniversaries of Munshi. Please refer to the programmes in the Munshi Chair.
