Placement
Veer Narmad South Gujarat University is focused on creating an environment which ensures
constant development of students. In this regard Training and Placement cell in the University
is in place. This cell conducts various activities in different departments. The main aim of the
placement cell is to place the students according to their areas of interest in organizations
and to bridge the gap between departments and industries. The placement officer conducts mock
interviews for students in various departments of the university. This cell is responsible for
regular career counselling and providing the students for necessary resources for making them
ready for corporate and utilizing their potential.
The Department strives to work with students for their all-round development. The Placement Cell endeavours to provide industry compliant talented students through a well developed network of industry-institute interface. This is done by a full time placement officer of the Department who is involved in Liaison with Corporate Sector and other institutes. The Department consistently work together with industry to create a constant flow of placement opportunities for our students. To leverage these ooportunities, students are prepared for their placements with secific sessions on personal grooming, communication skills and interview handling techniques.
The Department has a strong placement record over many years. Many studnets have received multiple placement offers. Many of our students are place in reputed organizations. The Departmental placement cell assist the students for summer internship and off-campus projects that provide enhanced exposure for their career path identification and inculcate an attitude that is required to represent the organization to the global business world
