Prof. Dr. Gaurang D. Rami

Dr. Gaurang D. Rami has about twenty years of teaching and research experience. He holds Ph.D, M.Phil and M.A. (Gold Medal) degree in Economics with specialization in Econometrics and M.A. in Sociology. He has done Post Graduate Diploma in Research Methodology and Certificate Course in Advanced Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Dr. Rami is serving as Adjunct Professor at School of Graduate Studies, Mindnao State University, Philippines (2021-22). He served as Visiting Professor at Cebu Normal University, Philippines (2012 & 2013) and Batumi Navigation Teaching University Ltd., Georgia (2015). During 2008 he has visited Greece to present research paper in an International Conference. He served as Chairman for Babasaheb Dr. B R Ambedkar Chair at VNSGU (2018 to 2020) and was Honorary President of the Asian Society of Teacher’s for Research Inc. during 2016 to 2019. So far Dr. Rami has authored seventeen books, four working papers, one monograph, eight chapters in an edited book, and around fifty research papers in national-international referred journals. He has served his expertise in twelve research projects funded by government and non-government organizations viz. ICSSR, ONGC, NTPC, Government of Gujarat, United Nation Development Programme (UNDP-India) etc. Nine Ph.D and One M.Phi scholars have received their degrees in his guidance.
