Osho Chair
Shri Osho Chair – (Established on 19/05/2017) (M.O.U.)The Osho Chair was established with a grant received from the Osho Lotus Trust, Surat on 22/01/2017 in the presence of the revered story-teller MorariBapu. The University Library houses the Osho Corner which includes books written by Osho Rajneeshjias well as books written on him and the AV corner.
The Osho Chair offers the following:
a) Lecture series are organized with the objective of inculcating in-depth, comprehensive understanding in the students as far as spirituality, philosophy, way of thinking, and pedagogy are concerned.
b) Arrangements are being made for the researchers so that they have an access to literary texts and reference books.
c) Workshops and meditation camps are organized with the objective of attaining life-goals.
d) This chair has been established with the purpose of bridging the gap between the students, society and spiritualism by conducting various programmes.
e) Organizing seminars, elocution competitions, essay-writing competitions, group discussions, and reading camps are the priorities of this chair.
